Jonathan P. Davis is admitted to the Missouri Bar, the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri and to the Arkansas Bar. He received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he was the recipient of the Trial Advocacy Award for his graduating class. Mr. Davis’ undergraduate degree in biology was completed at College of the Ozarks and he received his M.S. in Agronomy and Ph.D. in Soil Physics from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Davis was a Professor of Biology, had his own environmental consulting business, and worked for an engineering firm on reservoir expansion projects in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Mr. Davis started his law practice in insurance defense but for the past eight years he has exclusively represented plaintiffs. Mr. Davis has been admitted to practice law in the following jurisdictions: Texas, Indiana, Florida, North Dakota, Oklahoma, U.S.D.C., Eastern District of Missouri, U.S.D.C., Western District of Louisiana, U.S.D.C., Southern District of New York. Over the past five years, Mr. Davis has recovered, either through trial or settlement, millions of dollars for his clients (or their estates) after they were injured (or killed) by commercial motor vehicles. In 2017, Mr. Davis received a top 20 jury verdict in Florida against a trucking company after three weeks of trial. In 2018, Mr. Davis received a 65 million dollar judgment against a trucking company in the City of St. Louis.
Mr. Davis is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
